With over 20 years of experience in quality and compliance, Ash Sahni
offers a depth of expertise that allows him to formulate high-level quality and compliance
implementations and training. He gained most of his expertise while he was the Director of
Quality and Regulatory Affairs at Minnetronix (1997-2002), Director of Quality Systems at
SIMS Deltec, Inc. (1992 to 1997) and holding a number of positions at Medtronic, Inc.
Sahni's experience has given him a profound knowledge of quality assurance
functions and Total Quality Management, with a special focus on design quality, product
development, and customer satisfaction measurement. He has successfully implemented
reliability programs, QFD, SPC, FMEA, Risk Assessment and Risk Management, Process
Validation, Process Design Quality, Problem Solving, and other TQM methodologies. Sahni
has also implemented quality systems that comply with ISO 9001 and 13485, FDA's QSR and CE
Marking requirements and he has audited against the same standards. Sahni communicates his
knowledge through educational offerings in both corporate and university settings, serving
as an adjunct faculty member of the University of St. Thomas in its Management Center and School of

Sahni has a B.Sc. (Engineering) and an M.B.A. He has American Society for
Quality (ASQ) certifications as: Quality Engineer, Reliability Engineer, and Quality
Auditor. He has written and presented over 100 papers at US and international
conferences. In 1998, he was elected a Fellow of ASQ.
